This just in from Dust News Channel 13-
Reports of a spider being sighted near the market district of a local dust town has brought our Dust City, as a whole, into a frenzied panic. Police and thick dust military units were dispatched to investigate and to possibly confirm whether or not a spider was in the city. As of yet, there has been no sign of a spider, but we remind our readers to stay indoors as much as possible until the spider threat is ended. The mayor of Dustville, the dust town where the spider was spotted, had this to say:
" Now Now, I want everyone to calm down. I won't have my town going all scattershot because of...what was it again? A spider... A SPIDER?! Dear sweet dust, run! bar the doors to my office, blockade the windows! HIDE ME!"
Chilling words from an undoubtedly brave soul, shook to the very core by this nightmare, which we all must face now. No further comment could be reached by the mayor, as he had barricaded himself in his office with his daughter and hidden under his desk. Political correspondants don't believe this will hurt his chances for re-election.
For now, all citizens of our Dustropolis are reminded to keep indoors, and if you must venture out, do not do so alone, and do not venture far away from a safe shelter. Our admiration goes out to those brave officers who are still investigating the spider case, and our thoughts are with those who are perhaps the most terrified, the residents in Dustville.
